We spent the last week learning about apples, how they grow, and foods we can make with apples. We have been learning the letters Aa and Bb and the sounds they make. We are working on numbers 1-10 and playing a few dice games to practice number sense, counting, and one-to-one correspondence.
In the next few weeks we will be finishing up some apple activities, learning about fire safety, continuing to talk about fall and Halloween. We will practice the letters Ff, Hh, and Ll. We will be creating patterns, practicing shapes, and work with balance scales. In handwriting we will continue to work on all the different strokes that are needed to form alphabet letters.
Please continue to have your child practice cutting and writing their name at home. We will be working on these skills in class also.
